This is the place where the themes of the next few expansions get announced and discussed. If you aren't sure where your idea would best fit, then this is probably the best place to post it.

Expansions of 2013

The thematic concepts of scheduled growth for the upcoming year has been decided. They will be as follows:

Spring 2013: To Battle the Night
This expansion will focus upon combating the Forces from the Source of Darkness. A lot of the current thematic abilities of certain characters and organizations will become mechanical, better allowing for their builds to be made. Likewise, this expansion will see an increase of the light-aligned races.

Summer 2013: Xiang
This expansion will focus upon oriental concepts and methodologies. While mostly a thematic expansion at the time of this announcement, there is the plan for an increase of basic creatures as well as several new variants for martial artists and healers. Also new oriental weapons are on the table.

Fall 2013: Tearing the Veil
This expansion will focus on things of horror and unnaturalness. The inspiration for this expansion is the concept that sometimes, the shadow that you see isn't darkness. Sometimes, it's nothing. Sometimes, death is only the beginning. There are plans for a greater variety of undead (and methodologies for dealing with them) as well as a new conceptual race type similar to the D&D aberrations.

Winter 2013: None
There will be no expansion planned for the last quarter of the year. Instead, I will be working on making a printable version of the Haven System. This version will include all of the mechanics up to to its published date, including any explanations given in other places. The Haven System Guide will be made available upon request to all players.

To facilitate the making of this book, I need all players to start asking mechanical questions (outside of play) in the Haven Questions thread as well as any errors, real or perceived, grammatical or otherwise, that are found need to be posted into the Reconstruction section, along with the URL of the ability in question. You may get the exact URL of an ability by right-clicking on the post's title and choosing "Copy Link Location" from the drop menu. You may then paste from your clipboard to anywhere you wish.
