Utility Powers - Page 3 Technology   
BREWER
   Description: You make things to eat that grant special abilities.
   Mechanic: You may spend a number of cycles equal to your Magic score make a magical consumable. This item can replicate any single ability from the categories Magical Resistances, Supportive Powers, Supportive Utilities, or Utility Powers that you have for a number of cycles equal to the amount of cycles that you would grant normally. Magical consumables use the creator’s scores and abilities for all determinations. You may only have a number of magical consumables in your possession equal to three times your level plus two at any time. Using a magical consumable takes an action. Magical consumables are not considered to be abilities of the Technology subcategory for the purposes of abilities, ability paths, and weaknesses.

CREATE DOLL
   Description: You know how to build robots, completely inorganic creations.
   Requires: Armory Technician; Lifespark; Program; Repair Item; Suggestion; Tinker; Tinker’s Intuition; Tinker’s Study (Any); 20th Level
   Mechanic: By spending a number of days equal to your character level, you may make a creature of the race Doll. The creation is always a first level character capable of independent thinking and acting. You set the Honor Code to whatever you wish, but it cannot be changed after creation is complete. Dolls begin to think for themselves quickly after their awakening. Within 1d4 days after their initial awakening, they begin to show signs of reasoning beyond their basic programs and will no longer automatically follow orders that are clearly sacrificial in nature.

GOURMET
   Description: You are familiar with a great many consumables and can readily identify them when you come across them.
   Mechanic: If you spend time observing a consumable, taking no other actions and not moving more than five feet per cycle, you glean information about it as follows:
      1st Cycle: You can tell whether it is a magical consumable or not.
      2nd Cycle: You learn what level is required for its use.
      3rd Cycle: You learn what it does primarily. This does not include any secondary abilities.
      4th Cycle: You learn all secondary abilities, if any, that the magical consumable has or uses.
      5th Cycle: You learn the duration of the replicated ability’s effect, as applicable.

   Mechanic: Choose one of the following Attributes: Attack or Magic. Powerful Soul’s effect now applies for meeting level requirements of the abilities in categories tied to that Attribute. Additionally, this ability counts as another ability slot spent on Powerful Soul. This ability may be gained multiple times. Each time, you choose a different Attribute from the list and it counts as another ability slot spent on Powerful Soul. Using this ability is automatic.

This item can replicate any single ability from the categories Magical Attacks, Movement Modes, Supportive Powers, or Utility Powers that you have for a number of cycles equal to the amount of cycles that you would grant normally. Suos use the creator’s scores and abilities for all determinations. You may only have a number of suos in your possession equal to three times your level plus two at any time. Using a suo takes an action. Suos are not considered to be abilities of the Technology subcategory for the purposes of abilities, ability paths, and weaknesses.

   Description: You are knowledgeable about your suos. By observation, you can figure out many things about them.
   Requires: Scribe

      2nd Cycle: You learn how many uses the suo has left, if any.
      3rd Cycle: You learn whether the suo has the ability to recharge and what time of day it recharges, if it does.
      4th Cycle: You learn what a suo does primarily. This does not include any secondary abilities.
      5th Cycle: You learn all secondary abilities, if any, that the suo has or uses.

SCRIBE’S RUNE
   Description: You can’t help but add your own touch to objects that you come across in your travels.
   Requires: Any Magical Attack or Supportive Power; Magical Brand; Scribe; 3rd level
   Mechanic: You may apply a suo to a Defense Equipment, Weapon-Based Physical Attack, magical knickknack, or target. This suo may be any ability or ability combination that you can normally produce through the Scribe abilities. If a target or possessor of an object does not wish for this ability to be affected, they must make a Resistance roll against your Magic roll. The suo uses your modifiers for determinations. The suo will trigger at the event chosen when it is created and may only be used once. Use of the suo does not destroy the object upon which it is inscribed. Any time this ability is used in conjunction with a magical knickknack, a d100 must be rolled upon the use of the suo. A result of 50 or lower means that the object is rendered inert and is no longer magical in nature.
